This is my first portable flosser. I have always used a water flosser but never a portable. My main complaint and reason for not giving it 5 stars is that the water reservoir is too small and I need to refill, but if it were big enough to hold enough water to do my whole mouth it would be too bulky to hold I think. I also find it kind of awkward to hold and maneuver without getting water all over the place. I am hoping the more I use the easier this will be and the drier my countertop and body will be! It also was kind of tricky to figure out how to switch water power modes and I will admit I actually had to write to customer service to find out how. Instructions maybe should have covered that a bit more in detail. All in all I am happy with it and love the freed up space in my bathroom getting rid of my old waterpic. Being in the dental field my whole career I know the importance of clean teeth and healthy gums and I now own the burst brush and flosser and know they will do a good job keeping my mouth at optimal health.
I was so excited to find the water flosser and be unchained from my countertop version. Everything about the design of the MIGA flosser (right down to the box it came in) was seriously impressive: thoughtful, beautiful, functional, you name it. I thought I may have found the perfect gift for just about everyone. Then I tried it and just can't love it as much as I want to. If there were only a way to have made it hold more water. I find it really only works for a quadrant of my mouth at a time so it takes four refills to really get a thorough cleaning. This really detracts from the otherwise amazing ease of use, especially in the shower. I would happily trade a little of the design perfection for a larger water tank. With that tweak, this would really revolutionize my dental health. As it is, the tiny capacity is a pretty big drawback and is the only thing that would hold me back from recommending this to others. I was hoping my husband would fall in love with it too but, again, the fact that it only holds enough water to last 30-40 seconds was a big drawback for him. Maybe one day they'll make this improvement and then this will be one incredible product. Until then, I'll just keep filling and re-filling - it's still pretty amazing.
