How to use

1.Power On: The mirror turns on automatically when opened, and the LCD screen lights up (with sound).
2.UV Detection: Long press the LCD touch button. The green indicator, LCD screen, and UV light will activate, showing real-time images.
3.Detection Display: Areas with sunscreen appear as black spots on the screen.
4.Exit Detection: Short press the button once to exit detection mode.
5.LED Mirror: Three brightness levels—Soft, Natural, Bright. Short press the button to switch and adjust.
6.Power Off: Close the mirror to turn off automatically.
7.Visibility note: UV view shows coverage differences. Contrast may appear lower on deeper skin tones and can vary by sunscreen formula. Try Bright mode and adjust angle/distance.

Can UV rays from the UV camera harm us?
No. The UV light emitted by the Magic Mirror is very weak and used only for short-term exposure. It will not damage your skin or eyes, and sunscreen is applied during the process for extra protection. In contrast, strong UV rays from sunlight can accelerate skin aging, cause pigmentation, and lead to other skin issues—this is why daily sun protection is essential.
How does the Magic Mirror work?
It is embedded with an ultraviolet lamp and a camera. The lamp emits UV light similar to sunlight, and the camera captures the UV light reflected by the skin. When sunscreen is applied evenly, it appears darker in the UV Magic Mirror. Areas with insufficient application will appear lighter.
Will the device detect mineral sunscreen?
No. The device's sensors are not designed to detect mineral-based sunscreen. For optimal results, ensure skin is clean and product-free before use.
Why is the UV view not obvious on my skin?
The UV image relies on contrast, which can vary by skin tone, sunscreen formula, lighting, and application thickness. On deeper skin tones, the contrast may appear lower. For best results, use Bright mode, check in a darker environment, and compare areas with/without sunscreen.
